This is an excellent, albeit basic, proprietary probiotic blend. With several different strains and a higher CFU count, Primadophilus Optima is an excellent supplement for those that need a small boost to digestive function.

What to expect from the strains
With everything from Lactobacillus, bifidobacterium, and even streptococcus, these strains will help out with diarrhea, IBS symptoms, digestive discomfort, and provide a boost to the immune system. Without including saccharomyces boulardii, however, users should not expect the full range of benefits that would be seen in one of our higher rated brands.
The Good
Primadophilus Optima is a wide-spectrum probiotic with guaranteed live cultures, and Nature’s Way is a well established brand.
The Bad
These need to be stored in the refrigerator, and we saw several complaints of lost potency when stored incorrectly with retailers other than Nature’s Way. Their spectrum also lacks diversity, with most of the “14 strains” being subspecies of lactobacillus and bifidobacterium.
