GNC

Overall Rating:          3.2/5pGNC1-24431128dt

GNC Probiotic Solutions Adults 50 Plus is a reasonably potent blend of lactobacillus and bifidobacteria. It includes a few different subspecies of each, and promises that at least two of them have been researched in adults over 50 years of age. With 55 billion CFU, despite the lack of range or variety in their probiotics, they bring an acceptable amount of potency to the table.

What to expect from the strains

As with any Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium blend, these two in combination are expected to boost your digestive comfort and immune system. While they are relatively basic blends, they include enough of each for the average user to expect results within 4 to 6 weeks.

The Good

GNC Probiotic Solutions – Adults 50 Plus is a reliable, basic probiotic blend that covers its minimum bases when it comes to the necessary strains and amounts expected to be seen in a probiotic. It’s also available at most GNC stores, and may be easier to get ahold of for those who don’t want to or are unable to purchase a higher-rated brand.

The Bad

With only two different probiotic species, we would have expected to see a lower price on this product.

GNC Probiotic Solutions Adults 50 Plus, 30 Capsules, Digestive and Immune Support
  • Multiple strains of live, active probiotic cultures
  • Customized bifudo formula, including strains clinically studied in older adults
  • Replenishes friendly bacteria that decreases with age.
